Bikini
What are the different bikini wax options?
We offer the following Lycon bikini lines:
- Traditional bikini: a tidy around the pant line.
- Extended bikini: for those higher cut pants and over the bottom cheeks.
- Brazilian: removal of hair from the labia, bottom, leaving hair on the pubic mound as thin, thick or triangle.
- Hollywood: full hair removal from labia, bottom and pubic mound.
Brazilian and Hollywood waxing is only available if you are over 18.
Lycon Wax
We only use high qualify waxing products by Lycon, Australia. We use hot wax (peelable) techniques for all areas. This ensures a quick and gentle technique. Bigger areas such as arms and forearms we use Lycon roll on warm wax.
Pre and Aftercare
Prior to appointment:
- On the day of your appointment do not apply moisturiser.
- It is recommended the day before to exfoliate
- Aftercare: Your therapist will explain aftercare in more detail.
- After your wax for 24-48 hours.
- Do not have hot shower/baths, exercise, sunexposure, sunbeds, saunas. swimming.
- No sun, perfumed products for the same time.
How long should the hair growth be for waxing?
We recommend letting your hair grow for 4-6 weeks, especially if you’ve been shaving. Hair grows in cycles, and this helps ensure a smoother wax removal. Your therapist will create a personalised timeline for you.
